冲积扇 alluvial fan 常年性的河流出山后,以山麓谷口为顶点向开阔低地展布而形成的扇状堆积地貌,是冲积平原的组成部分。面积约数百平方米至数百平方千米。如黄河冲积扇、滹沱河冲积扇等。冲积扇的扇顶坡度陡,多为砾石和筛滤堆积物组成,中间厚、两侧薄;扇中坡度较缓,主要由砂砾石夹粘土组成,横切面似弦切面,中部堆积厚,两侧薄;扇缘坡度最低约1°~2°,一般由粉沙和粘土组成,扇缘常出露泉水或形成沼泽、洼地。不同的干、湿气候区与构造活动区,分布着不同特点的冲积扇。冲积扇的发育时期与扇面的几何形态相关。
