在阿左旗巴彦浩特一居民区,有一对奇特的巨型树根。因其根须相互盘龙虬错难以分割,有人喻称之为“同命鸳鸯”树。但周围居民讲,其实,这是母子树。
从其生长结构很显眼地可以看出,旁边的小树根当年是从大树根上扎出来的。从树根年轮上判断,至少已有百余年时间。因这两个连体母子树根硕大而沉重,非大吊车而靠人力是轻易奈何不了它们的。故,好几年时间了,这对树根的主人并不怕“树大招风”,而是一直将其裸放在自家大门口。据悉,主人之所以花大代价将这对树根从一边远牧区长途运回,是想将其制作成一特殊的根雕。但具体这母子树为何成现在的命运,目前还不得而知。
