性质:  又称顶体蛋白;顶体蛋白酶。在生物学中是指卵子与精子受精过程中所不可缺少的生物活性物质。其本质是水解酶类,可溶解卵膜。主要成分是与胰蛋白酶类似的顶体蛋白酶和少量透明质酸酶、酸性磷酸酶等。当卵子和精子都成功地被输送到受精部位时,精子的头部一旦接触到卵子表面时,位于其头部顶端的细胞器之一的顶体(acrosome,实际上是一个溶酶体)就随之发生顶体反应(acrosome reaction),由顶体部分伸长为顶体丝,并分泌出多种酶蛋白,即顶体蛋白,顶体蛋白溶解卵膜,使精子头部穿透卵的放射冠和透明带,而进入卵子,完成受精过程。
