【植物形态】
植物形态：多年生草本，高可达1米。根肥厚，长圆锥形，茎直立，单一或基部分枝，被白色细毛。根生叶肾圆形，有长柄，茎叶互生卵圆形或广卵圆形，长2~7厘米，宽1~3厘米，基部楔形，先端尖边缘有粗细不匀的锯齿，无叶柄。花蓝紫色，顶生总状花序，小花柄极短，花萼5裂，花冠钟状，下垂，5裂，雄蕊5枚，雌蕊1枚。蒴果球形。 生态分布：产我国中部及南部各省；多声于山坡荒山草地或灌木丛中，沟边草地也常有生长。 药用部分：根入药，秋季采挖。 用途：性味苦、微寒，无毒。能养阴清肺，除虚热，止咳嗽。治肺阴不足，虚热咳嗽，燥咳及肺痿等症。用量：1.5~5钱。
