Phase compositions, microstructure features, chemical components and critical current density (J_c) of the doped and the undoped MgB_2 wires are investigated by using X-ray diffractometer, scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive spectrometer and the standard four-probe resistance technique, respectively.
