| 砂岩 sandstone 沉积碎屑岩的一种。由粒径0.0625～2毫米的砂粒经胶结而成，砂粒含量应占50％以上，其次为胶结物、基质和孔隙。砂粒的成分主要是石英，其次是长石及各种岩屑，有时含云母、绿泥石及少量重矿物。胶结物主要是化学沉淀矿物，如硅质、硫酸盐、碳酸盐、磷酸盐及硅酸盐矿物等。基质又称杂基，是充填于砂粒之间的细粒机械混入物，如粘土物质、细粉砂等。它们属广义的胶结物。按粒度可分为巨粒、粗粒、中粒、细粒和微粒砂岩。按成分可分为石英砂岩、长石砂岩、岩屑砂岩和杂砂岩。 |
