梳趾鼠科（栉趾鼠科）是生活在非洲撒哈拉沙漠一带多岩石地带的小型啮齿类。梳趾鼠动作非常灵敏，是攀登岩石的高手，可以爬上垂直的裸岩。梳趾鼠毛质松软，可以抵御阳光的暴晒，适应岩石沙漠地区的生活。梳趾鼠社会性较强，可以发出独特的声音用以互相联络。梳趾鼠科的分类地位有一定的争议，有人将其置于鼠型亚目，也有人认为其可自成一个亚目。
