Following the Indosinian movement, intensive intracontinental orogenesis occurred in the Qinling orogenic belt due to the joint effects of the three great tectonic domains of Paleo-Asiatic,circum-Pacific and Terthyan tectonics,which formed the basic tectonic framework of structural schist system with interfingering banded and massive structrues in this area.
