性质:黄色针状结晶体(由水重结晶)。熔点106~108℃。有升华性。能随水蒸气挥发。易溶于甲醇、乙醇、乙醚、石油醚、氯仿,难溶于冷水。乙醇溶液呈黄色,遇氢氧化钠则溶液变为暗紫色,如调成中性,则复原为原色。溶于氨水呈紫红色。乙醇溶液遇醋酸铜或三氯化铁,呈红棕色。存在于茅膏菜(Drosera binata zabill)的根及叶柄中。由萃取而得。用于染色。
