Based on results of ore genesis and locating mechanism in the Fenghuangshan copper deposit,ore-controlling factors and prediction indexes are summarized.

凤凰岩雄踞于凤山之上。岩形如大鲸,全身黝黑,脊背上留下一条条白色的斑纹。游人由尾端岩缝进入,宛如一条大回廊,凉风习习,清幽冷静。“凤凰岩”是宋代学士胜南命名题字,清代赵端礼又在岩上篆文演书“栖凤之山”四字。此处崖面很奇,弥勒岩身踞寺后,与凤山寺里的塑方头弥勒菩萨相似。合掌岩的掌缝里有很大空间。还有鸡飞岩、鸡卵石、“老虎搔痒’等怪石。
