“曲径高山险，山峦欲接天。万山相与峙，一水送溪烟”，大理国仅有的9个盐井之一——黑井就坐落在那有一条碧绿小溪留过的山坳里。
岁月在悄悄地流走，凹凸不平的砂石路和斑驳陆离的石墙上已刻写了古镇的年龄与岁月的沧桑。与其他小镇相比，黑井更有几分古之悠悠，无论是蜿蜒曲折街道，悄然耸立的石雕、石碑、古建筑，还是山头上落寞的的古墓，都无言的告诉着人们这个小镇当日的热闹辉煌。昔日，四方的客商都汇集在黑井，他们看中的货品是黑井生产的优质盐，靠着那一口口可出贡盐的盐井，当年的黑井百姓日子过得很富足，史书上说：清朝时云南67％的税收来自黑井。如今“王”字型的武家大院豪宅、贞节牌坊、皇帝的御笔、飞来寺、以前曾产过盐的盐井及卤水池子仍留在那里，龙祠内悬挂的牌匾是雍正皇帝所题写，上书“灵源普泽”四个大字也已蒙上些许尘灰，只有用铁水灌注的黑井庆安堤则依旧默默的为当地百姓造福……
繁华逝去，如今古巷幽幽，木刻的花窗，雕梁画栋的屋子里结满的蛛网尘丝，青石板路上的深深蹄印，无不在诉说着黑井的历史与曾经的辉煌……
