This paper analyses the experiment result of nonlinear electrical pulse generated by PCSSs: Linear pulse—Delay—Avalanche (unstable)—Lock-on(quasi-steady state) combining with physical principle with the results of numerical simulation of PCSSs by two-dimensional(2-D) device simulator MEDICI,and puts forward a self-consistent physical mechanism at the same time.
