| 地声 earthquake sound 地震发生时，一小部分地震波能量传入空气变成声波而形成的声音。在基岩露出地表和表土层很薄的靠山地区，容易听到地声。听到地声的时间一般在感到地面振动之前，也有的在感到地面振动之后。文献中记载人耳听到的地声，有的似雷声、炮声、撕布声，有的似拖拉机声、风声等。仪器记录的地声大多出现在震前数分钟至数小时内 。 实验表明，在应力达到岩石破裂强度的一半时 ， 声发射信号显著增加，当微破裂进一步发展时，声发射频率由高频向低频变化，因而有可能被仪器和人耳接收。由于地声多在临震前出现，有可能对临震预报和自救有意义。 |
