A radar meteorological equation, that is applicable to groups rotating spheroidal raindrops, has been presented for horizontally polarized radar waves.
导出了雷达发射水平偏振波时适用于旋转椭球雨滴群在三种不同取向情况下的雷达气象方程,并且重新定义了相应的雷达反射率因子,确定了在用雷达测定非球形雨滴降水时的订正系数,为提高雷达定量测量强降水的精确度提供了一种新的理论方法。

Based on the theory of electromagnetic scattering for small rotating spheroid particles (Gans theory),considering the case of coincidence vertical orientations of particles rotating axes, we investigated deeply on the lateral scattering characteristics of objectives to radar wave and inferred the radar meteorological equations of radar-emitted horizontal and vertical polarized wave.
以椭球粒子的电磁波散射理论(Gans理论)为基础,考虑粒子群旋转轴一致铅直取向情况下,深入研究散射体对雷达波的侧向散射特性,推导出发射水平偏振波与垂直偏振波时的双基地雷达气象方程,并重新定义相应的雷达反射率因子、侧向反射率-后向反射率之比及差分反射率因子等雷达探测参数的表示式,为进一步研究和应用双基地多普勒天气雷达提供理论依据。
