白玉长堤古纤道
纤道是指架设在水面上的、由一座座石桥连接而成的水上通道。供纤夫背纤和躲避风浪用。因多为官府出资修建，亦有官道、官塘之称。
绍兴古纤道位于浙东运河绍兴段的河面上，旧时西起钱清江，途经湖塘、阮社、柯桥、东湖、皋埠、陶堰、东关等集镇，东至曹娥江，全长75公里。因年久失修，多有废弃，至今保存最完整的，是柯桥至钱清段。
古纤道路基，是用石条砌成的一个个石墩，高出水面0.5米左右。墩与墩之间，用三块长约3米、宽约0.5米的石板平铺而成。
据清光绪九年（1883年）《重修纤道桥碑记》称：自阮社乡太平桥至湖塘乡板桥一带的纤道，就有桥孔281个，可见工程之浩大。
古纤道在向前延伸中，不时地会出现一座座横跨运河的石梁桥或石拱桥。
“白玉长堤路，乌篷小画船。”绍兴纤道不仅构思厅特，建筑精巧，而且造形优美，富有诗情画意，在国内已绝无仅有，因而备受中外游客和影视工作者的青眯。
