描述PseuderanthemumRadlk.钩粉草属，爵床科，约120种，分布于热带地区，我国有海康钩粉草P.haikangenseC.Y.WuetH.S.Lo等4种，产西南部和南部。草本或亚灌木；叶对生，全缘或有粗齿；花白色、蓝色或红色，1－3朵聚生于线形苞片的腋内，排成穗状花序、聚伞花序或总状花序；萼裂片5，狭长；花冠管长或短，5裂；发育雄蕊2，退化雄蕊2；蒴果长椭圆形，有种子4颗。
