斜长角闪岩 amphibolite 由区域变质作用形成的一种变质岩。主要由普通角闪石和斜长石组成(两者含量大体相等),可含少量黑云母、石英、铁铝榴石、绿帘石等。具粒状、柱状变晶结构,片状,片麻状构造。可根据构造+特征矿物+基本名称的原则命名,如条带状石榴子石斜 长角闪岩、芝麻 点榴辉斜长角闪岩等。通常认为它形成于高绿片岩相(绿帘角闪岩相)至角闪岩相的变质条件,有时也可形成于接触变质作用。在老变质岩地区广泛发育。 |
