The evolution of sedimentation of South China plate in the Hercynian Indosinian stage can be divited into five substages from its occurrence to subduction, which corresponds to Ⅱ cycle of the relative sea level change, and the Dongwu movement is the turning point, which took place between the Early and Late Permian.

Domal deformational-metamorphic body which developed in Wugongshan region of Pingxiang City, Jiangxi Province in the north margin of Huanan Plate belongs to magmatic core complexes.
华南板块北缘江西萍乡武功山地区发育的穹窿状变形变质体属岩浆核杂岩,其结构特征和成因机制,与经典的变质核杂岩有相似之处,但其核部是花岗岩,它主要是花岗岩浆强力底辟侵位引起地壳局部隆升和伸展滑覆。
