The reproductive behavior of the painted snipe on Wuliangsuhai wetland was observed from April,2005 to September, 2007.
2005年4月～2007年9月,在内蒙古乌梁素海湿地自然保护区对彩鹬繁殖习性进行了观察,研究结果表明,彩鹬每年4月下旬迁徙到乌梁素海,常活动于乌梁素海东岸边缘浅水区、沼泽地带,6月下旬营巢于四边环水的土丘草丛中,产卵初期创浅盘状小土坑,产卵3～4枚时逐步铺垫香蒲茎、苇叶等干草。

补充资料：乌梁素海
| 乌梁素海 位于中国内蒙古自治区河套平原东端。蒙古语意为杨树林。湖泊面积约220平方千米。其形成与黄河主流改道有关，最早的黄河沿狼山南侧的乌加河作主流东流，后因地壳隆起，黄河受阻急转南流，冲出一个较大的洼地，这就是乌梁素海的前身，以后，由于风沙东侵和狼山南侧的洪积扇不断扩展，致使河床抬高，乌加河被泥沙阻断，河水溢流到洼地形成了乌梁素海，而黄河主流被迫改由南侧东流。现代乌梁素海主要靠乌加河和长济渠、民复渠等灌溉的尾水补给。水深0.5～1.5米，最大水深约4米，蓄水量2.5～3亿立方米。水的矿化度呈上升趋势，70年代初为4克／升。70年代后期，矿化度上升到6克／升。湖中饵料充足，鱼类资源丰富，除盛产鲤鱼外，还有鲫、草、鲢等20多个鱼种。芦苇、蒲草资源亦很丰富。 |
