| 羽蛾 Pterophoridae；plume moths 鳞翅目羽蛾科昆虫的通称。世界已知约600种。体细瘦，常呈白、灰、褐等单一颜甘薯羽蛾色，花斑多不明显。成虫飞翔力强，白天活动，也有在傍晚或夜间活动的。有趋光性。静止时前、后翅纵折重叠成一窄条向前方斜伸，与瘦长的身体组成Y或T字形。幼虫长圆筒形，头常缩入前胸；腹足细长，趾钩成单序环或中带，有次生刚毛或毛丛，常集聚在小瘤上。幼虫习性不一，有蛀茎、蛀花、蛀果，卷叶等等，或者在叶片上取食咬成洞孔。蛹狭长而腹面平，体表多毛和毛瘤。中国常见的种类有甘薯羽蛾等。
