“杨茂造”剔红花卉纹尊
“杨茂造”剔红花卉纹尊，高9.4cm，径12.8cm。
尊体表面黄漆地，上压朱漆花纹。器里及底髹黑色推光漆。口、腹及口内雕花卉纹三匝，由茶花、栀子、菊花、桃花等组成图案。盛开的花朵间，点缀着含苞欲放的花蕾，枝繁叶茂，充满活力。作品用漆不厚，雕刻刀法圆熟细腻。花纹的边缘抛光平滑，不露雕刻痕迹，给人以清新、典雅之感。
器底左侧近足处，针刻“杨茂造”三字名款，笔力遒劲，近似行书。
作者杨茂擅髹漆，尤以剔红器最得名。剔红器之外，亦有用红黑漆分层髹饰，然後雕出纹饰，谓之“剔犀”。纹饰题材相当广泛，通常以花卉和山水人物为主。花卉者，多用黄漆为地，上压朱漆花纹。
杨茂的作品，存世极少，弥足珍贵。
