In the present study,intraseasonal variations of precipitation in Guangdong Province of China during the rainy season of 1999 and the accompanying variations of the tropospheric circulation are analyzed with the use of rain data collected by the National Climate Center of China and the NCEP-NCAR reanalysis data.
