The late eruption of Longgang volcano was in 1500～1600 years ago.
在约 170 0 km2的龙岗火山区内分布 10 0多个玄武质岩浆爆破成因的火山渣锥和射气岩浆成因的低平火山口 -龙湾 ,最新喷发距今约 150 0～ 160 0年。

Firstly we analyze the vertical deformation rates of five leveling lines in more than twenty years in Longgang volcano region.
首先分析了龙岗火山区及其附近20多年来5条水准路线所反映的垂直形变背景场情况,发现相对于长春基准点,长白山区东部和北部地区主要表现为大面积下沉运动,而龙岗火山区则表现为相对上升运动;然后分析了龙岗火山区主要隆起区垂直形变场变化以及剪切和张裂变形率变化,所得结果均反映了长抚线发生了较明显的活动;最后运用改进的Mogi模型,采用L曲线法反演了主要隆起区可能的压力源参数。

千年古镇龙岗（旧称芙蓉岗），位于天长市区以北30公里、美丽的高邮湖畔。镇内明清古民居特色鲜明，保存完好。清代道光年间曾出过状元戴兰芬。
省级重点文物保护单位——中国人民抗日军政大学第八分校旧址分布于古民居群中，与古民居交相辉映。老一辈无产阶级革命家刘少奇、陈毅、粟裕、郑位三、罗炳辉等曾在这里生活战斗过，他们的光辉事迹使这里成为独具魅力的革命遗址游览胜地。
