The Laowan gold deposit in Henan Province,one of the most important gold deposits in the Qinling-Dabie orogenic belt,is hosted within Proterozoic metamorphic rocks,controlled by the Lanwan NWW-trending shear zone and related to the nearby Laowan Yanshanian granite.
河南老湾金矿是秦岭—大别造山带中代表性金矿之一,其容矿围岩是元古宙变质岩,矿体受到NWW向老湾剪切带的控制,同时附近又有燕山期花岗岩。

The Laowan gold ore belt is an important component part of the Tongbai-Dabieshan(northern slope) gold-silver metallogenic belt,and the Laowan gold deposit is one of the major deposits in this belt and also one of the important large-size metamorphic clastic rock gold deposits in China.
老湾金矿带是桐柏—大别山(北坡)金银成矿带的重要组成部分,老湾金矿床是该成矿带的主要矿床之一,同时也是我国重要的变质碎屑岩型大型金矿之一。

The materias source base and material condition of mineralization, the main source of rare earths element in ore of Laowan Gold Deposit are analyzed.
分析了老湾金矿成矿的物源基础、成矿的物质条件和矿石中稀土元素的主要来源;论述了矿床中硫同位素组成不平衡的原因:通过老湾金矿床矿石铅同位素和成矿流体的研究,发现老湾金矿床成矿物质主要来自有热水沉积作用的中元古界龟山岩组地层,少部分来自老湾花岗岩体。

Using the neutron activation analysis method,the author studied the trace element characteristics of silicified and limonitized quartz sandstones,diabases,limestones and pyrite in the Laozhaiwan gold deposit,and analyzed the relationships between the elements.
采用中子活化分析方法测试了老寨湾金矿区内的硅化褐铁矿化石英砂岩类、辉绿岩类、灰岩类和黄铁矿样品的微量元素特征,并利用元素地球化学研究方法对元素间的相关关系进行了分析,结果表明,在该地区可以利用金的伴生元素来指导找矿。

老龙湾
老龙湾旅游区包括老龙湾、冶源水库、海浮山、悬泉寺、温泉河、风火洞等，地处平原与山区交接地带，西南为山区，东北为山前冲积平原和丘陵，地势南高北低，四季分明，年平均气温12.4°c，降水量为750毫米。老龙湾古名熏冶湖，位于海浮山北麓，泉水系地下泉脉涌汇地表而成，水域面积80余亩，水深盈丈，清澈见底，四季恒温18°c，湖中水鸟嬉戏，岸上竹林环绕。盛夏酷暑，泉水清凉甘冽，浸入肌肤；数九寒冬，雾气蒸腾，古人留下“冶源烟霭三冬暖”的诗句。老龙湾内泉计万许，主泉有铸剑池、万宝泉、秦池、善息泉、濯马潭等。另外还有雪化桥、陈荣碑竹、清漪亭、江南亭、上天梯、松节亭、古戏楼等景点。主泉铸剑池，水出石坎下，突涌若沸，传说春秋时期欧冶子曾于此铸剑淬火。池西南侧磐石上，镌有“铸剑池”三个斗方大字和“天下明护阴阳剑，鬼斧凿开混沌池”的诗句，为明嘉靖年间雪蓑道人书，其字体刚劲潇洒，为历代书法家所赞誉。明代著名教育家冯惟敏（1511－1578），字汝行，自号海浮山人，他晚年弃官归里，隐居于海浮山下老龙湾畔，建“江南亭”，他曾作《桂枝香》十首，盛赞这里“海上三山秀，人间万古奇，见说江南好，江南恐不如”的风光。
