ObjectiveTo study the effects of cerebral infarction in the left posterior limb of internal capsule (PLIC) on reflexive visually-guided saccades with the gap-task and the function of parietal lobe eye field (PEF) on regulating the paradigm.

Based on generalized symmetry transform principle, an improved algorithm for eyes location was proposed: First, according to the characteristics of gray sharp changes on vertical, the candidate eyebrow and eye regions were selected rapidly by using integral image technique; then, a symmetry transform algorithm was applied to search eyes; finally, eyes were determined based on prior knowledge.
