| 束毛藻属 Trichodesmium 蓝藻门的一属。藻体为单列细胞所组成的没有分枝的藻丝；藻丝外的胶鞘极柔薄，难观察到；许多藻丝在侧面互相贴靠但不交织，由此形成一种束状或鳞片状的群体，自由漂浮于水中。藻丝直走，或作螺旋状弯曲，除末端部的游离细胞略狭小外，藻丝上其余的细胞的直径几一致；细胞圆柱形或腰鼓形，藻丝细胞列中有异形胞。 该属4种，中国发现1种。海产，在大量繁生时，往往形成水华或称赤潮。其中有一种名为红色束毛藻的，系红海中重要的浮游藻，当其大量繁生时，海水变成红色，红海因而得名。 |
