安徽鹞落坪国家级自然保护区
位于安徽省岳西县境内,面积12300公顷,1991年建立省级自然保护区,1994年晋升为国家级,主要保护对象为亚热带常绿落叶阔叶混交林。
本区地处大别山区,属北亚热带季风气候区,动植物分布呈南北过渡特征,植被垂直分布明显,森林覆盖率达90%,为大别山区森林保护较好的区域,也是北亚热带一个不可多得的地区。区内高等植物有1200多种,其中国家重点保护植物有大别山五针松、金钱松、连香树等20多种。国家重点保护动物有金钱豹、原鹿、大鲵等十余种。同时,保护区还是佛子岭、磨子潭两大水库的主要水源涵养林区,对维护生态平衡和保护生物多样性都具有重要意义。
