  守恒(eonservation)J.皮亚杰描述儿童智力发展使用的概念。是在头脑中并且从一个概念的各种具体变化中抓住本质的东西。在学前期,儿童的感知运动图式内化而为表象图式,但这种图式没有达到守恒。只有当儿童的动作既是内化的,又是可逆的,才算达到守恒。守恒是通过两种可逆性实现的:一是逆反性,如十A是一A的逆向;一是相互性,如A>B,则B>A是它的正反。皮亚杰学派利用实验证明,达到各种守恒的年龄是不一样的,如物质守恒的年龄约在7一8岁,重量守恒在9一10岁,体积守恒则要到11一12岁。 (白学军撰林索德审)
