为了满足RoboCup机器人足球比赛对图像的要求,同时为避免由双曲面镜面、抛物面镜面等传统镜面构成的全景视觉系统引起的图像变形,依据不同成像特点的镜面,提出了一种由水平等比例镜面、垂直等比例镜面、平面镜面构成的新型组合镜面,获得了视场为360°的图像,并使图像在最远约7m的水平范围内和相应的约1m的垂直范围内无变形失真。
补充资料：镜头组
数码相机的镜头由多片镜片组成，材质则分为玻璃与塑料两类。有的厂商强调，他们的相机镜头以玻璃为材料，所以透光率佳、投射图像更清晰。不过目前许多测试报告都显示，玻璃的透镜并不一定比塑料材料能带来更清晰的图像，同时玻璃镜头也可能增加相机重量，因此选购时还是应该做多面向观察，不要拘泥在镜头材质问题上。
