Shui Jing Zhu written by LI Dao-yuan in the Northern Wei Dynasty is a work of notes(zhu)──as the ti- tle suggests──on Shui Jing(Book of Waterways)written during the period of the Three Kingdoms and has been highly appraised for ages for its vivid descriptions and substantial contents(its volume being over twenty times greater than that o f Shut Jing).
北魏郦道元所撰的《水经注》，按其书名是三国时所撰的《水经》的注释，但此书不仅比《水经》大２０余倍，而且文字生动，内容丰富，历来评价极高。
