This paper employs the process describing method to reveal the confluence movement of the mixed traffic flow, obtaining that the mixed traffic flow unnecessarily obeys the rule-“the first arrived is served first”-in confluence process.

In order to overcome the difficulties of the large amplitude motion of floating body in fluid field and to compute wave profile and forces acting on solid body more accurately,ALE(arbitrary lagrangian-eulerian) method was used to build the mathematical model of fluid-solid coupled motion with free surface.

In order to improve the separation mechanism, LDV (Laser Doppler Velocimetry) was used to measure the characteristics of gas turbulence flow in the cyclone tube.

Experiments show that the formation of Taylor bubble in gas\|liquid two\|phase flow is due to the intensive congregation and amalgamation of small bubbles driven by void fraction waves and that the highly turbulent flow is able to restrain this formation.

In order to investigate the influence affected by the shape of combustion chamber to air flow moving in cylinder of diesel engine, the air flow in 3 reentrant combustion chambers with different shape of convexities was simulated using AVL Fire.

The air flow in three different geometrical combustion chambers of diesel engine were simulated using AVL Fire,and the influence of geometry shape of combustion chamber to the air flow in the cylinder was analyzed.
