Analyzing the existing disk-based backup methods and considering the backup strategy, the author provides a backup method based on Virtual Disk Service and Volume Shadow Copy Service in SAN environment, which can decrease the backup window, ensure the data security and consistency, meet the needs of data backup at low cost.
