影像学术语。数字成像设备(如CR系统)中改善图像显示的后处理方法之一。空间频率处理是指对频率响应的调节，用于改善影像的锐度。在增感屏/胶片摄影系统，随着空间频率的增加，频率响应变小，即是说影像内高频率成份的对比将减小。数字成像系统中，可通过空间频率处理调节频率响应。比如，可提高影像中高频率成份的频率响应，从而增加此部分的对比，最终改善整个影像的显示。
