For raising the scanning efficiency,simplifying the processing of scanned data and extending the scanning scope of ATOS,according to the operation principle of ATOS scanning devices,by using the experimental results from a simplified self-made scanning testing platform,a design scheme of 5-DOF scanning platform applicable for ATOS was planned and the scanning platform was modeled based on it.
