单兵或班组携带，以肩扛方式或用发射架发射的小型地空导弹武器系统。是攻击低空、超低空突防的飞机和武装直升机的有效武器。具有体积小，重量轻，射程近，操作简单，使用灵活，便于携带和隐蔽伪装等特点。由导弹、发射筒、瞄准装置、发射装置、地面能源组等构成。导弹由弹体、单通道制导系统、战斗部、动力装置和一次性电池等组成。多数采用被动红外寻的制导，少数采用激光波束和光纤制导。导引头有中红外或近红外，双波段和红外、紫外双色等导引头。发射筒是导弹的密封包装筒和发射导向器。光学瞄准具安装在发射筒上。发射装置包括击发机构、电子组合、敌我识别器等。地面能源组由小型冷却装置和电池组成。20世纪60年代研制并装备部队，如苏联的sa-7、美国的“红眼睛”等。70年代以来不断改进发展，主要是提高抗红外干扰和诱饵的能力，如美国的“毒刺”、苏联的sa-18等。
