Design, Implementation and Test of PM Sub-System in INMS;

A new duty- layered model for integrated network management system (INMS) which will lead to the separation of special management functions for different equipment from general management functions of INMS, and thus may directly support the "inde- pendent development and centralized management" system integration scheme, was introduced in this paper.

Since protocal adapter is the core of multi-datasource INMS nowadays, the architecture of INMS is discussed firstly, and then the speciality and designing idea of the crucial technology of INMS-protocal adapter are also dissertated, and the design of protocal adapter of heterogeneous database based on XML is emphasized.
