1 引言
高压断路器在电力系统中起控制和保护作用，其性能的可靠与否关系到电力系统的安全、稳定运行。为降低非全相分合闸情况出现，有的场所需要用三相机械联动。有的用户更直观地判断三相机械联动断路器可靠性远大于电气联动的断路器，但实际情况却需要具体分析。
2 断路器故障概率统计
据CIGRE于1988～1991年对1978～1991年投运的66kV及以上单压式SF6断路器进行的可靠性调查，共70708台年，因操动机构故障造成的失效占总失效数的64.8%，其中二次电气控制和辅助回路故障占21%，操动机构机械故障占43.8% 。
1989～1997年全国电力系统110、220、330kV和500kV SF6，断路器操动机构部分故障统计见表1。操动机构包括2个部分，一是机械传动部分；二是包括控制机械部分合、分操作的控制回路和辅助回路，如接线端子、接触器、辅助开关、分合闸线圈、微动开关、马达、气体继电器等二次元件。共统计故障458次，机构故障304次。

上述统计资料表明，目前断路器主要故障为操动机构故障，且机械故障占有较大比例。
