基金转换概述
基金转换指的是开放式基金的投资人可以将目前的基金申请转换为其它基金，但转换的对象通常只限于同一家基金公司发行且销售机构有代销的基金。即投资者卖出一只基金的同时，又买入该基金管理公司管理的另一只基金。就银行指定用途信托的业务而言，首先基金投资人须携带原信托凭证、原印鉴和身分证，到原承办单位办理手续，并告知承办人员所欲转换之共同基金，以及填妥转换申请书。但转换时的成本须包括买卖价之间的价差，一般约0.5%至1%左右，视各家基金公司之规定而有所异动。
基金转换是基金管理人向基金持有人提供的一种服务，是指投资者在持有一家基金管理公司发行的任一开放式基金后，可直接自由转换到该公司管理的其他开放式基金，而不需要先赎回已持有的基金单位，再申购目标基金的一种业务模式。当交易账户为正常情况下，且申请转换的基金必须为基金管理公司规定的可转换基金时，才能进行转换交易。 基金转换采取未知价法，以申请当日基金单位资产净值为基础计算。
