Studies the charactersof the modified maximum likelihood equation using ranked-set sampling for general parameters and construct modified confidence intervals of sample parameter, the research illustrates that under the same confidence level, the modified confidence interval for sample parameter based on ranked-set sampling is more accurate than traditional confidence interval.
