The calculation methods of multiple tuned mass dampers using to control the vibration of stuctures are studied.

On the basis of the equivalent principle,for two controlled structure systems which have equal wind-induced vibration responses,the equivalent equations can be established and according to that,the equivalent equations between nonlinear passive dynamic absorbers-structure system and TMD-structure systems are proposed,from which the parameters of equivalent TMD are obtained.

A new kind of damper resisting wind vibration of high-rise building the smart TMD that is composed of MR damper and traditional TMD is designed.

We have established the equations of motion of the high\|rising building under the wind excitation including the soil\|structure interaction, and studied the influence of the interaction on the effectiveness of the Tuned Mass Damper control for the wind response of the soil\|structure system.
