CT设备的类型之一。与原型EMI头部CT机类似的早期CT系统。扫描方式为平移-旋转式(T/R)，只能用于头部检查，为第一代CT机。X线管为固定阳极管，仅有1～2个固体探测器。在扫描中X线管连续发生笔形线束，每平移扫描一次后，机架旋转1°。完成一个层面的180°的扫描，需进行180次平移-旋转，需时5～6分钟或更久。重建矩阵为160×160或256×256。该种类型的CT设备现已淘汰。
