（术语）谓极乐净土虽称西方十万亿土，然由法味观念上观之，则去此座不远也。观无量寿经曰：“尔时世尊，告韦提希：汝今知不？阿弥陀佛去此不远，汝当系念谛观彼国净业成者。”天台观经疏曰：“极乐国土去此十万亿佛刹，一一刹恒沙世界，何言不远？解云：以佛力故欲见即见，又光中现土显于佛顶，一念能缘，言不远也。”善导观经疏二曰：“言不远者，有其三义：一明分齐不远，从此超过十万亿刹，即是弥陀之国。二明道理虽遥，去时一念即到。三明韦提等及未来有缘众生，注心观念境相应行人自然常见。”
