动作模仿(i m itation of aetion)学习者对一定的动作方式的仿效，即实际再现示范者所示范的一定的动作方式。这是学习者掌握一定的动作方式的一种学习形式，也是学习者形成动作技能的一个必要阶段。动作的模仿大体包括两个环节:(l)掌握局部动作的环节。(2)初步掌握完整的动作系统的环节。在这两个环节中，自始至终所进行的练习(模仿)，都是以模仿开始前通过动作的定向所形成的动作映象为依据来调节的。在模仿阶段的练习，可以使这种动作映象得到检验、校正、充实和稳定，进而改善其对练习的调节功能。在模仿阶段，学习者的动作方式，一般具有以下特点:(l)在动作结构方面，表现为动作间不够协调，彼此常有互相干扰的现象，有时出现多余的动作。(2)在动作的速度和品质方面，表现为动作迟缓，动作的准确性、稳定性与灵活性都较差。(3)在动作的控制方面，表现为视觉的控制作用占主导地位，动觉的控制作用不明显。(4)在自我感觉方面，动作时常伴随着紧张感和疲劳感。这一切都表明，动作技能还没有达到熟练程度。 (成立夫撰区玉国审)
