光照射在粗糙面上向各个方向反射的现象。因粗糙面各处凹凸不平，各点的法线方向互不平行，在平行光照射下反射光线也互不平行。人们能从各个方向看到本身不发光的物体，就是因为其他光源发出的光在物体各个粗糙表面上发生漫反射的缘故。
