由多个功率晶体管及其附属电路构成的集成器件。用于电力电子装置的主电路中。各类电力电子装置往往需要多个相互关联的功率晶体管、二极管及驱动电路等一起工作。虽然这些装置的线路各种各样，但其主电路类型还是相对固定的，这就有可能按不同类型将主电路元件及线路的部分或整体封装在一个模块中。图1是两种典型的功率晶体管模块。图2为三相变频调速电路。 电力电子电路采用晶体管模块后，简化了元件封装、电路接线和冷却系统，减少了线路的分布参数的阻抗和耦合，使装置体积缩小，性能改善，提高了可靠性并降低了成本。功率晶体管的模块化，是电力电子器件和线路发展的一大方向。模块在使用中，其中部分元件的损坏往往引起整个器件的失效。在80年代，大容量功率晶体管（数百安、上千伏容量）的价格较昂贵，故这类模块还较少见。
