1.一种能将声音沿墙面传送的环形墙壁。因声波的波长比围墙半径小得多，声波以束状沿墙面连续反射前进，故靠墙轻声细语，在远处贴近墙面仍能听清。北京天坛南部的回音壁，建于明嘉靖九年(公元1530年)，是砖砌圆形光滑的大围墙，高6米，直径65米。
