| 柑橘类果树 citrus fruit trees 芸香科柑橘属、金柑属和枳属植物的总称。世界柑橘生产的重要种类大都起源于中国。柑橘类根系发达，侧根多而水平分布范围广，常有菌根共生，侧根上的细根再生力强。有单花和花序两类。完全花，芳香且蜜腺发达。果实由合生心皮发育而成，多肉多浆特称柑果。柑橘类对土壤的要求不严，而以土层深厚、排水透气性能良好的中性至微酸性（pH5.5～7.5）最佳。生产上多用嫁接繁殖。柑橘类主要的害虫有螨类、蚧类，溃疡病是主要的检疫对象。柑橘类果实除供鲜食外，还可制罐头、果汁、果酱、果酒、蜜饯等果品加工产品；从中提取的柠檬酸、香精油、果胶可作食品和医药工业原料。橘皮、橘络等是中药材。花可熏制花茶，提取香精，也是良好的蜜源。柑橘类果树四季常青，树姿优美，可供观赏。
