Library Crisis Management:A Case Study Based on Wenchuan Earthquake

Crisis is a special state,by analyzing the crisis management case of the losing of the book donated by BaJin,the paper proposes the defaults exist in modern library crisis management,makes clear the condition of domestic library crisis management,and provides theory support and experience for library crisis management practice.

Library crisis management includes the dimensions of emergency treatment and process control.

The research background that analyses and reveals domestic library crisis management has introduced some research conditions,foreseen and shown clearly the major directions of future studies,and offered beneficial reference for library circle colleague.

This paper discusses the basic connotations and features of the library crisis and the library crisis management,analyzes the categories and geneses of the library crisis,and based on this,puts forward some countermeasures for implementing the library crisis management.

The article explained the definition of the library crisis firstly;We can divide crisis of libraries into two different types: unexpected crisis of libraries and unobvious crisis of libraries.

According to different standards,such as crisis inducement,the traits of crisis occurring and development,the domain of crisis engendering,the people s consistence attitude and so on,we can divide crisis of libraries into different types.
