人们经常会看到一些水珠在水上漂动的情景。为什么这些水珠没有溶于水中，而且还能在水上到处“游走”？法国科学家最近发现了其中的奥秘。
法国科学家说，水珠之所以能在水上“走”，首先是因为在水珠和水面之间有一个空气层，里面的空气是水珠与水面接触时没能及时“跑掉”而留下来的，于是水珠便在这层空气上，而没有完全接触到水面。当水珠就要接触到水面时，在特定条件下，水珠会产生一种振动波，表现形式是在附近水面产生同心的微小波浪。在水面的振动作用下，水珠会在小波浪间滑来滑去，这样的运动最终使小水珠逐渐在水上“游走”。
