奖项介绍
全国人像摄影十杰奖是由《人像摄影》杂志社主办的，从1993年开始每三年举办一次，2002年是第四届全国人像摄影十杰奖，此次颁奖活动在北京举行。来自全国29个省、市、自治区的145位作者的3000幅图片参加了比赛的角逐，最后北京的姜东、高西林……摄影师脱颖而出获得“人像摄影十杰”称号。此次奖项要求参加者每人须提交近三年来创作的人像摄影作品10幅，作品规格一律为 12英寸，严禁装裱。为了更全面地衡量参加者的综合素质，除选送作品外，还须提交阐述本人创作经验或艺术见解的文章一篇（文章要言之有物，观点明确。避免空洞）、本人简历一份、本人工作照或证件照2张。
全国人像摄影十杰评选聘请具有较高鉴赏水平，具有突出创作成就的知名摄影家、理论家或评论家组成评委，按照严格的评审程序进行评选。为了展现新世纪人像摄影世界的新面貌，评委会将更多地聘用新人，推出新人。
